Xenaphobia

It is remarkable to me that such a tempest in a teapot can be raised over a liking for Xena avatars - surely that is a sign of miso-andric tendencies right? (hint: no, I just like colourful characters, and Conan seemed a wee bit too chunky for me) Right now I have a pretty mean looking goose as an avatar - I guess that means I have it in for the Aflac duck. And let’s not even begin to pschoanalyze other choices over the years:

Ariel
Blossom
Dee-Lite
Kate Jackson
Various birds
A fried chicken head
Princess Leia
Darth Vader

Egad! The choice of a fried chicken head is especially disturbing. The potentials for latent hostilities are enormous.

Now this is funny:

I heard that TheDoor had in 1999 Xena nominated as Warrior Theologian of the Year. I can’t post an image here but the cover is pretty funny.

TheDoor can be the bomb. I don’t always agree, but I always laugh, even when it is my goose that is being cooked (that wasn’t too aggressive towards my current avatar was it?)

So for anyone who was worried that I was about to go on a man-hunting rampage while possessed by the spirit of Xena, you can rest.
